CLIENT SERVICE ASSOCIATE (Charlotte, NC or Charleston, Raleigh, Atlanta, Denver, or NYC Metro including NJ)

Bray Executive Search is a national executive search firm specializing in wealth management for ultra-affluent family clients.  We have been retained by a prominent RIA that is seeking a Client Service Associate.  The position may be located at the headquarters in Charlotte, NC, or Charleston, Raleigh, Atlanta, Denver, or NYC Metro including NJ; the firm will consider relocation for the right candidate.  

This opportunity is with an early-stage, rapidly growing, independent RIA with extraordinary development in its first few years of operation.  They have developed a platform for the UHNW client segment allowing for highly customized and sophisticated solutions. The firm provides an encompassing, holistic scope of wealth management services for family office clients such as investment management (including sophisticated solutions for private investing), estate and tax planning, philanthropy, legacy/governance consultancy, and financial management and administration. 

The Client Service Associate (CSA) will work closely with senior advisors and team members with a focus on any and all client and wealth advisory-related material and communication.  The CSA will provide presentations, analytical support, and reporting and help ensure consistency across all client relationships.  Once acclimated to the role, the CSA will gain an understanding of individual client relationships and continue proactive support to senior client team members and directly to the clients.  This firm offers an excellent service platform for UHNW clients, an outstanding collaborative and collegial culture with a talented team, and exceptional opportunities for career growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out the day-to-day delivery of wealth advisory management services in supporting senior client team members; interact with clients and build relationships while ensuring their needs are being met.
  • Onboard and maintain client accounts; create customized client presentations and analysis, operational support.
  • Communicate with clients and their advisors; assist with documentation relating to account profiles
  • Review investment portfolio allocations, review performance reports, process asset transfers and act as a point person for investors; handle subscription documents, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records and files; manage client meeting preparation and scheduling logistics.
  • Liaise with custodians to monitor accounts and help resolve any issues or discrepancies; assist with reporting platform and daily management of client accounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-7+ years of related experience; the firm is open-minded about the breadth of experiences and will accommodate a junior candidate or a more seasoned person.
  • BA/BS degree preferred; professional designation also preferred
  • Experience with custodians highly preferred; either Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing highly preferred.
  • Excellent client service communication skills; professional cultural fit with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with the ability to quickly learn new systems such as performance reporting, data/transaction aggregation, data analytics, CRM
